ly that he never lost the lead. The
fall cut his lead from over six sec-
onds to just barely over a second
ahead of GEICO Honda's Matt
Bisceglia. But Cianciarulo found
his rhythm again and was able to
build nearly a seven-second lead
before backing it down and fin-
ishing 5.347 seconds ahead of
Davalos, who surged back after
his crash to grab second with five
laps to go.
Justin Bogle came from way
back and rallied to pass team-
mate Bisceglia late in the race
to score his second straight po-
dium.
"I rode really well tonight I
thought," Bogle said. "The start
didn't make it easy on me. If I can
get those starts down I think I can
battle for some wins here soon."
Cianciarulo's victory inched
his series lead up from two to five
points over Davalos after three of
nine rounds. Bogle moved past
Blake Baggett (who finished fifth)
to take over third in standings.
"I tried to stay right behind Mar-
tin to pressure him," Cianciarulo
said. "He ended up going down
and I passed him, had a big lead,
and then I ended up going down.
It definitely was a sketchy race,
but I had that quad in my back
pocket that I was doing. I was just
riding smart and was able to get
the win."
The quad Cianciarulo spoke of
was a section of a rhythm jumps
that no one else in the 250 class
was able to do.
Cianciarulo said Indy was the
toughest track he'd ever raced.CN
