SUZUKI RM-Z250 AND 450 YOSHIMURA PERFORMANCE PACKAGE

erally more durable and hold up
longer than titanium units. But if
you're a hard-core motocrosser
and feel that right-now perfor-
mance outweighs your durabil-
ity concerns, then the ti-exhaust
might be the hot set-up, especial-
ly when you consider that you're
getting a $1000 exhaust system
for just $600.
Did we have any concerns
with the kits? Yes. Check care-
fully what comes in the kits. One
of ours was missing the cool Yo-
shimura-stamped heat shield, and
our RM-Z250 graphic kit seemed
to be cut for an older RM-Z mod-
el, or something, and had the RM-
Z450 rear-fender sticker instead
of the 250 (yes, there is a slight
difference between the two fend-
ers). Overall, though, the graphics
still fit pretty well, just not perfect-
ly. Plus, the JS7 (James Stewart)-
replica graphics sort-of looks like
his bike's actual graphics, but they
still look factory nonetheless. Oth-
erwise, all was good.
Suzuki is offering the Yoshimu-
ra performance package deal un-
til at least March 31 (it could be
extended, which it has before),
and a similar offer is being made
for new 2013 RM-Z450s.
Check with your local Suzuki
dealer for all the details. CN
