SUZUKI RM-Z250 AND 450 YOSHIMURA PERFORMANCE PACKAGE PRODUCT REVIEW P72 If weight is a concern for you, then the high-priced lighter tita- nium/carbon fiber RS-4 exhaust system is probably the way to go - it's about a pound and a half lighter than the RS-4 steel system according to Yosh's figures. For our test bikes, though, we went with the package with the most overall value – option two, which comes with the heavier (though still lighter than stock) stainless steel/aluminum system and all the knick knacks that go along with it, including full graphics. Installation is easy (we did it at the track) and takes less than an hour to install per bike. Most of that time is spent on the graphics kit. That factory look when you're done, however, is well worth the effort. The exhaust system mounts right up nicely using the stock bolts. A rubber grommet and an aluminum spacer are included in the kit for the narrower-than-stock muffler. Overall, the Yosh exhaust system is extremely well built and looks pure factory. It's a serious piece of racing equipment. The muffler comes with an AMA-approved sound insert that we chose not to run at the track, yet the Yosh pipe didn't sound significantly louder than the stock Basically, for $600, your new Suzuki RM-Z450 could look like this if you opt for one of the Yoshimura performance-package incentives from Suzuki.
