Suzuki GSX-R1000 its first
World Superbike win since
2010 when he stormed to
victory in the opening round
of the series at Phillip
Island. The Yoshimura-
powered Laverty rode from
seventh on lap one to a
come-from-behind victory,
blitzing the competition
in the first of two races on
the island circuit.
