IN THE WIND P26 MOTOGP 2014 – THE FINAL VERSION T he FIM released the final version of the 2014 MotoGP calendar on Monday with the Brazilian round being dropped from the schedule. The news of Brazil getting the axe isn't much of a surprise as construction at the Autodromo Nelson Piquet in Brasilia is running behind schedule and would not be completed in time for the September race. The other change to the schedule is the Ara- gon round in Spain, which has been moved back a week to September 28 – the date originally being held for Brazil. The schedule is as follows: March 23 – Doha/Losail, Qatar April 13 – Austin, Texas April 27 – Termas de Rio Honda, Argentina May 4 – Jerez, Spain May 18 – Le Mans, France June 1 – Mugello, Italy June 15 – Catalunya, Spain June 28 – Assen, Holland July 13 – Sachsenring, Germany August 10 – Indianapolis, Indiana August 17 – Brno, Czech Republic August 31 – Silverstone, England September 14 – Misano, Italy September 28 – Aragon, Spain October 12 – Motegi, Japan October 19 – Phillip Island, Australia October 26 – Sepang, Malaysia November 9 – Valencia, Spain The Aragon round of the MotoGP World Champion- ship has been moved to September 28 – the date originally held by the now cancelled round in Brazil. Last week he was poached by the Red Bull KTM team and signed a contract that will see him aboard the or- ange bikes for the next three and a half years. The 24 year old is excited to be joining the team that is led by legend Marc Coma, SUNDERLAND TO KTM Sam Sunderland won a stage of this year's Dakar Rally with Honda. Now he's signed a contract with KTM.
