MOTOGP 2014 –
THE FINAL VERSION
T
he FIM released the final version of the 2014
MotoGP calendar on Monday with the Brazilian
round being dropped from the schedule.
The news of Brazil getting the axe isn't much of a
surprise as construction at the Autodromo Nelson
Piquet in Brasilia is running behind schedule and
would not be completed in time for the September
race.
The other change to the schedule is the Ara-
gon round in Spain, which has been moved back
a week to September 28 – the date originally being
held for Brazil.
The schedule is as follows:
March 23 – Doha/Losail, Qatar
April 13 – Austin, Texas
April 27 – Termas de Rio Honda, Argentina
May 4 – Jerez, Spain
May 18 – Le Mans, France
June 1 – Mugello, Italy
June 15 – Catalunya, Spain
June 28 – Assen, Holland
July 13 – Sachsenring, Germany
August 10 – Indianapolis, Indiana
August 17 – Brno, Czech Republic
August 31 – Silverstone, England
September 14 – Misano, Italy
September 28 – Aragon, Spain
October 12 – Motegi, Japan
October 19 – Phillip Island, Australia
October 26 – Sepang, Malaysia
November 9 – Valencia, Spain
The Aragon round of the MotoGP World Champion-
ship has been moved to September 28 – the date
originally held by the now cancelled round in Brazil.
