VOL. 51 ISSUE 6 FEBRUARY 11, 2014 P45 Dovizioso praised improved corner entry, a bugbear last year, suggesting that the arrival of Dall'Igna has brought something of a chassis breakthrough. More is needed, but the outlook for the red bikes is at last encouraging. The rest are more or less CRT hangovers. Avintia Blusens riders Hector Barbera and new ex-Moto2 team- mate Mike di Meglio are continuing development of their Kawasaki engine in an FTR chassis. The rest use Aprilia power, with future developments promised, but as yet uncertain. Iodaracing teamsters Danilo Petrucci and ex-Super- bike newcomer Leon Camier ride ART bikes; the PBM team uses Aprilia engines in their own chas- sis for second-year rider Michael Laverty and Australian GP rookie Broc Parkes. MotoGP riders get two more gallops before the action starts at Losail in Qatar on March 21 – three more days at Sepang at the end of February, then the Facto- ry and Open classes split up, the former going to Australia's Phillip The fastest man in the world. Rossi had some fun in Sepang.
