"Sorry to hear about one of my heroes passing.
Godspeed, Neil!"
The Master Modeler
Thanks so much for the in
depth story on Pere Tarrago's
wonderful scale model work
("Master Modeler," Issue 4,
January 28). And Alan Cath-
cart again comes through
with details on how the man
does this work, the thought
process, tools, techniques
and how Pere's son and some
skilled contractors are involved.
Though I miss the days of a
magazine I could leave in a
stack of others, give to a friend
or go back to, your electronic
version looks so good on my
24-inch screen I've got to say
Cycle News is better than ever!

250 Shootout
The worst rated bike in the 250
Shootout is in the Supercross
points lead. Ironic.

Archives
Thanks to Larry Lawrence for
his recent Archives story on
Jimmy Ellis ("Ellis' Almost GP
Victory," Issue #4, January

know.

Ice Harleys
Kudos to Harley-Davidson for
bringing their bikes and riders
to the Winter X Games. Count
me in as someone in favor
of adding ice racing to the X
Games program. And I think
the television audience who
they build the event around
would dig it. So let's do it.

Ricky Graham
Was happy to read about Ricky
Graham (pictured below) being
inducted into the Motorsports
Hall of Fame. It's well de-
served. He was a hell of racer
and man.
