orth Carolina's Jacob Hayes
claimed his first ever Arenacross victory when he charged
to the front of the pack in front of
his home crowd in Greensboro,
North Carolina on January 25. In
doing so, he becomes the second Road to Supercross rider to
win this year. Aaron Plessinger
was the first two weeks ago.
On the Brewer Cycles Kawasaki, Hayes went 1-2 to capture
the overall win ahead of Colt
Nichols on the Babbitt's Monster Energy/AMSOIL Kawasaki.
Nichols went 3-1 on the night.

out the podium with a
5-3.
Defending champ Tyler Bowers went 11-5 for
seventh overall, but he
revealed that he's been
riding with a broken leg
(a fracture near his ankle) since round one of
the series after he and
another rider collided.
Zach Ames, sixth in
N.C., still leads the championship but by just two points over
McDade. Bowers is still right
there in third just four points behind McDade.

WEBB SET FOR TT DEBUT

rand Prix racer Danny Webb
has announced that he'll
race in this year's Isle of Man TT
on a KMR Kawasaki, the young
Brit slated for an ambitious
schedule of races - Superbike,
Superstock, Lightweight and the
Senior TT.
The 22-year-old Webb has
raced in 125cc and Moto3 for seven years with 20 top-10 finishes.
He will race in a team managed by
former TT racer Ryan Farquhar.
Webb's best GP finish was fifth
in the 2008 Portuguese Grand
Prix. In 2010 he had a career
best 10th in the championship.
In 2011, Webb rode for Mahindra
and gave the Indian manufacturer
its first pole position in Valencia.
Last year, Webb left Moto3
and raced World Supersport for
the PTR Racing team, with a best
result of 11th in the final round in
Spain.
"I'm a big TT fan," Webb said.
"I've already been to the event
and I have always said that I
wanted to do it one day. It's
something that has been going
through my mind more and more
of late, and the opportunity came
along to work with Ryan Farquhar who puts out some of the
best bikes on the grid, so I simply couldn't say no.
"It's going to be a big change
for me after years in the Grand
