ROUND 1/JANUARY 19, 2014 HONOLULU HILLS RACEWAY/TAFT, CALIFORNIA OFF ROAD P90 ROCKY MOUNTAIN MC WORLD OFF-ROAD CHAMPIONSHIP SER NEW YEAR, NEW WINNER GARY SUTHERLIN KICKS OFF THE 2014 WORCS SERIES WITH TAFT WIN STORY AND PHOTOGRAPHY BY HARLEN FOLEY T he opening round of the 2014 World Off-Road Championship Series got off to a fast start at Honolulu Hills Raceway, with NTS' Gary Sutherlin coming away with the win over RPM KTM's Justin Jones and defending WORCS Champion, Precision Concept's Robby Bell. Racers were treated to a beautiful weekend for racing with near-record high temperatures in the 80s, which made it feel more like spring than winter, and the great weather brought out a huge crowd of racers and spectators. More than 1000 combined race entries were filled out over the weekend, which included 10 in the Pro class.
