Wilson remained undeterred
and rode the entire race
solo. He claimed second
Over 40 Pro and was ninth
bike to the finish.
"So I was riding my good race
because I knew the lapped traffic, if I got around them smoothly
I knew I could keep the lead going, and I did so I'm stoked on it."

KTM teammates Brendan Crow
and Meza followed them in for
fourth overall bike and first in
Open Expert with Purvines Racing Beta's Curtis Bradley and
Jeremy Purvines fifth bike overall
and first 250cc Pro.

faster ride and Bangert reveled
in it, saying, "It was way better
on the roads - you actually have
speed!"
He continued, "We ran fourth
the whole first lap until the end
when I ran out of gas. I had to
push it in to the main pit, which
was about a half mile away, and
got passed so we were fifth, and
I gave the bike to Skyler. Then we
heard N1 (Bell and Brabec) broke
down so we were like, 'Okay, sick
- we're in fourth!' And he comes
in [after his loop] in third - I'm like,
'Oh God! Okay, I guess I've got
to go!'
