Barreda, the Spaniard winning three
of the first eight stages. There's one
little problem facing Barreda and
Honda in their efforts to win the rally
– Red Bull KTM's Marc Coma. The fivetime winner of Dakar has a lead of
over 38 minutes over his countryman
after the first eight stages.
