JD BEACH
hard times in the paddock and a
rough season on the Kawasaki
Superbike has finally paid off
as he's landed the coveted factory ride on the Graves Yamaha
team for next season. We had a
chance to talk to Beach about
that new ride, his journey there,
and splitting his time between dirt
track and road racing.
How excited are you about
your new ride with the Graves
Yamaha Y.E.S. team?
I'm really excited. I think it's going to be great. It's a great team
and I've been working really hard
for this and I'm just glad that I'm
finally getting a chance. I'm really looking forward to it. The new
year can't come fast enough.
You've been on a Yamaha
for the past few years, so
you're already pretty comfortable on the bike. It's just about
moving up to the factory?
I've been riding the R6 basically the whole time I've been road
racing. And it's a great bike. I had
a year where I didn't ride one,
but going to Graves is really… I'm
just going to be learning kind of
a new bike, cause it's completely
different to what I'm riding now.
