onda Muscle Milk's Trey Canard will miss at
least the opening round of the 2014 AMA Supercross Series after sustaining a broken arm while
practicing over the Thanksgiving Weekend.
The injury was serious enough for him to undergo surgery on Tuesday, December 3.
"Of course we are disappointed that Trey will
miss the opening rounds of the 2014 Supercross
season," said Honda's director of racing, Ray Conway. "He has been going really fast at all our preseason test sessions. We all know how hard Trey
will work to get back as soon as he can, and the
whole team can't wait for his return."
There is a chance that Canard will be back on
the track by Anaheim III.
