MUSQUIN KING OF GENEVA
TM's Marvin Musquin came away with
the overall win at the Geneva Supercross in Switzerland, December 6-7, and
with it was crowned the King of Geneva.
Musquin came out swinging in the
opening night of racing on Friday, outdueling GEICO Honda's Wil Hahn in the
main event for the win. French rider Greg
Aranda completed the podium.
Defending Geneva Supercross Champion Justin Brayton, of the JGRMX Yamaha Team, suffered a fall in the final and
finished out the night sixth.
Brayton, however, came back and won
Saturday night's final, but it wasn't enough
to keep Musquin from winning the overall.
Musquin's 1-2 over the weekend was more
than enough to claim the Geneva crown.
TLD/Honda's Malcolm Stewart finished
third on Saturday night, followed by Hahn
and Arnada.
"Beating Brayton, Hahn and Stewart,
for sure it is a victory that will count in the
United States," Musquin said. "And it is a
little revenge on Hahn who beat me in the
East Coast Supercross Championship,
although I would have preferred to win
there."
CASELLI HONORED AT GLEN HELEN
T
housands of family, friends and fans of Kurt Caselli nearly filled Glen Helen Raceway in San

According to track officials, an estimated 2000plus people attended the event to honor the offroad star and legend.
"Actually we stopped counting after about
2000," one official said.
The line of cars and trucks extended all the way
to the nearby freeway, and anyone who has ever
been to Glen Helen Raceway knows how far that
is – it's a long way.
Many stars and celebrities of the motorcycle industry came out to Glen Helen to pay their tribute
and honor the FMF/KTM team rider who lost his
life while competing in the Baja 1000. Many of them
included some of the stars of the off-road racing
