The 428 Series is Progressive Suspension's low-cost
monoshock lineup, and now the company has one for
the Ninja 650. Designed specifically for the smaller-bore
sportbikes, these shocks incorporate proper spring rates
and specifically tuned deflective disc dampers combined
with a gas charge to prevent oil foaming, all wrapped
up in an all-aluminum body. Each 428 also utilizes a
threaded body for fine-tuning to specific riding styles
and weights.
