XR750 and his Specialty Fabrication/Schenk Racing Honda CRF450. He earned two wins, five podiums and there was just one race in which he didn't
finish in the top five and that was the Colonial Downs
Twins race where he suffered a DNF. For 2014, Baker will ride a KTM 450 in the Singles races.

Run after the AMA National Youth Hare & Hound
Championship races (and over the same course
the Super Minis used), it probably drew twice as
many participants as the actual races did and
brought out many who hadn't been to the desert
or a National in years. Steven Dunn typified that by
saying, "I haven't been out here [to a National] in
seven years, but I had to be here for Kurt."
Some stayed for the race on Sunday, but many
more came out for the tribute lap then went home,
enjoying the rare prime riding conditions the

Gagne Back For More
AMA Daytona SportBike
Championship runner-up
Jake Gagne will return to
the Red Bull RoadRace
Factory team for the 2014
season. He will be joined
on the team by 2013 AMA
SuperSport Series Champion Tomas Puerta, with
the Colombian rider set to
make the move up to the
Daytona SportBike class.
Gagne was the only rider
in the series other than
Monster Graves Yamaha's
Cameron Beaubier to win
a Daytona SportBike race
in 2013 with his victory
coming at Road America.
The San Diego, California, native also posted
podium finishes in every
race except for two as he
was slowed at the end of
the season with a broken
collarbone that required
surgery.
Noyes Ends His
Season
American road racer Kenny Noyes ended his 2013
season with two thirdplace finishes in Jerez,
Spain, on his Speed Racing Suzuki. The Spanish
CEV 1000cc Extreme title
went to Twelve Ducati's
Xavier Fores, who was
second in both races,
with Carmelo Morales
taking the runner-up spot
and Ivan Silva finishing
third overall in championship points. Silva won the
second race after being
dropped to fourth in race
one by Race Direction
for an incident at Lorenzo
Corner with Morales, the
winner of race one.
Honda's IoM TT Plans
Honda Motor Europe
has announced its lineup
for the 2014 Isle of Man
TT races will be led by
22-time TT winner John
McGuinness.
McGuiness will be joined on the
team by Manxman Conor
Cummins on 2014 Honda
CBR1000RRs in the Superbike and Senior races.
Cummins will also ride for
the team in the RL 360
Superstock class. The
pair will also compete in
the North West 200.
