BARCIA OUTDUELS CANARD IN PARIS

second
time in his
career, Justin
Barcia was
crowned King
at the Bercy
Supercross.
citing. Trey and I were so close in
speed and we were only 10ths [of
a second] apart. Overall, it was
just very intense. We were going
extremely fast and were on a bit
of a different level compared to
the other guys. It was awesome.

t was pretty much the Barcia/
Canard show at the 31st running
of the Paris Supercross, November 8-10. Honda Muscle Milk's
Justin Barcia and Trey Canard
battled it out all weekend with
Barcia coming out on top and
being crowned King of Bercy for
the second time in his career.
Although Canard came out on
top in Sunday's final, Barcia captured the overall victory with his
combined 1-1-2 score, topping
Canard's 2-2-1.
Third overall went to BTO
Sports/KTM's Andrew Short,
followed by French rider Gautier
Paulin, on the Monster Energy
Kawasaki, and MyPlash/Star
Racing Yamaha's Cooper Webb,
who celebrated his 18th birthday
with a fifth-place finish.
"Man, what a weekend," Barcia
said. "I didn't want it to be that ex-

Jim Engle (an EnduroCross racer) at the Idaho.
"I've won it twice now so maybe next year I will come back and
try and make it three. I love this
place. I'm stoked to be King of
Bercy again, and it means a lot
to have two of those trophies at
home now. It is pretty special."

HONORED

ff-road racer David Kamo was
honored in a special presentation that took place during the Idaho
EnduroCross on November 9.
Earlier this year, Kamo sent autographed posters to Vet-class racer
and soldier Jim Engle, as well as everyone in Engle's unit, while he was
serving in Afghanistan. In appreciation, Engle presented Kamo with a
framed photo and framed certificate,
as well as an American flag that Engle's unit few in Afghanistan. The
