P28 IN THE WIND Denning-run Suzuki team. Camier is now trying to land a ride with either the Althea or Red Devils Aprilia teams. He has also said that he would consider the British Superbike or AMA Superbike Series if the opportunity presented itself. "I am pretty upset to be hon- est," Camier told bikesportnews. com. "We had shaken hands on the deal after testing and to be told yesterday [November 3] that it wasn't happening for 2014 has left me disappointed and annoyed. We weren't even going to test at Jerez unless we had an agreement, which we got, and then were finalizing the details there." Camier ended up 11th in the 2013 World Superbike Championship after coming back from injuries twice during the year, the worst one coming at the Turkish round where he broke his foot in seven places. ZEMKE TO GEICO HONDA ake Zemke will return to the motorcycle on which he had the majority of his success as the former AMA Formula Xtreme Champion will join the GEICO Honda team for the 2014 Daytona SportBike Championship. "I'm just really excited to be a part of the program and get the ball rolling," Zemke said in a team release. "I wish we were rolling to Daytona right now to go racing. The off-season will definitely be a little bit long for me. I'm looking forward to getting on the track as soon as possible. Collectively we've got quite a few years of experience on Hondas, and it's always great to get back on a bike you are comfortable riding. I'm definitely looking forward to putting some of my Honda knowledge to the test and help apply it to the team." Zemke finished 16th in the 2013 Daytona SportBike Championship, racing in only seven rounds on a Riders Discount-backed Triumph.
