Shoei's next-generation RF helmet is Shoei's lightest Snellcertified full-face model to date. Designed using Shoei's
state-of-the-art wind tunnel, the new RF-1200 is more
compact and more aerodynamic than its predecessor and
has been fine-tuned to reduce unwanted road noise from
entering through the bottom of the helmet. It has a large,
three-position lower vent shutter, three upper air vents,
and four uniquely positioned upper exhaust outlet vents
to take better advantage of negative-pressure suction. It
has a wider field of vision and the CWR-1 shield blocks
99-percent of damaging UV rays. It comes equipped with a
pinlock fog-resistant system and Shoei's Emergency Quick
Release System. Also new on the RF-1200 is a five-stage
rotating dial for adjusting how the shield sits, to prevent
unwanted wind noise or rain from entering the through the
shield. It comes in four shell sizes across the range of XS to
XXL, in a variety of solids, metallics and fresh graphics.
