CN III VOICES P18 LETTERS TO THE EDITOR "Go get some EBR. I will be watching and supporting the small U.S. team." TV Direction So am I the only one that watches MotoGP, World Superbike, Formula One, etc. who wishes that the directors of our shows would show all of the racers finishing before they show the pit crews and family reactions? I want to see where my/your favorite rider/driver ends up. We are not all fans of the winner, whoever that happens to be. But the directors continually want to show the reaction of the crew! I know there is money involved in this or if there isn't then the directors need to become fans of the sport first! Meanwhile we are waiting to see what happens to the finishers behind. And sometimes we have to wait for the results to find out where our favorite rider/driver ended up. Ridiculous! The reason I go to races or watch them on TV is "I want to see the race." The Australian Moto GP, which I just finished watching, was a perfect example of showing the crew of Jorge Lorenzo and Dani Pedrosa while Rossi, Crutchlow and Bautista were fighting it out for third. We got the one second, if that, of video while they crossed the finish line because I was stuck watching the crew celebrating. Ridiculous. Conny Johannesson Via the Internet Huskys On The Barbie Just as my confusion about where the new look Husquvarnas, KTMs, and Husabergs were going to be built or not was dissipating, I was once again plunged into uncertainty by learning that only the Australian KTMs and Huskys will be on the market. Brent Meeker Camarillo, C Yes, we erred in saying Australian instead of Austrian in one reference in our story on the new Husqvarnas. We are now force-feeding ourselves Vegemite… Editor Laverty's Plight I would love to see Eugene Laverty on a Suzuki next year, then maybe he would be a shoo-in for their MotoGP effort in 2015. Jimmie Davis Via Facebook Bad Call? Maybe a better solution to the tire problem at Phillip Island would have been two 10-lap races and combine the times for the win. They could have finished the first, come in and changed bikes, go to the starting line and in five minutes start the second race in the order they finished the first. Maybe they will get it right the next time. Raul Echeverria Via the Internet Buell To World Superbike I don't get it. AMA Superbike is reduced to slightly above a local club racing organization. EBR is tooling around mid-pack. Now they think they can be competitive in World Superbike? George Leavell Via Facebook Buell To World Superbike II AMA TV coverage has dwindled and not even the last race was shown on TV. I don't blame them for going for it. Why not - they're a small team and company taking on the big boys! Better to have tried and failed than to have never tried at all. Go get some EBR. I will be watching and supporting the small U.S. team. John De La Cruz Via Facebook Got An Opinion? If you've got an opinion on something you've read in Cycle News.
