Villopoto hit it too fast to bounce off of the tabletop like everyone else, but not fast enough to clear the quad, and went down hard, knocking himself unconscious. Stewart went on to win the second main event over Barcia, Dungey, Roczen, Wilson and Tomac. Villopoto eventually got up under his own power, and as of press time, the only major injury he incurred was the concussion. Roczen led the overall standings by virtue of a fourth place in both main events, but Stewart, Barcia and Dungey were tied for second only one point behind Roczen. Musquin and Tomac sat only two points farther back, so there were six racers with a legitimate chance at taking the Monster Energy Cup overall, worth $100,000, now that the Million was off the table. In the final main, Stewart lined up on the right, where he pulled the holeshot in the second main event. "The hard part was, I guess they [the starting-gate operators] MAIN EVENT 3 didn't have radio communication, Heading into the final main event, because the guy that was on our P55 side [the right side, before the first main event] was looking at the other guy and trying to figure out when the board went sideways and whatnot," Stewart said. "So, everytime we got it, we had less than 30 seconds [with the 30-second board up] and we had less than five seconds when that gate dropped. That's why I was pumped to be over there [on the left side, in the second main] and then the last main I went back over there [on the left] because it was the lead side."
