obby Bell put the finishing
touches on what was for
him a championship-performing season at the final round
of the 2013 WORCS series. Bell,
who clinched his first WORCS title a round earlier at Honey Lake,
finished off the year with another
victory – his fourth of the season
– at the Buffalo Bills Casino in
Primm, Nevada. But it was not a
walk in the park for the Kawasaki
rider, as he had to fight his way
around a couple of racers before
taking the checkered flag. Once
Bell claimed the lead, he steadily
pulled away and crossed the finish line 38 seconds ahead of fellow Kawasaki rider Bobby Garrison, with KTM pilot Justin Jones
finishing right behind Garrison after putting on a late-race charge.
The race for the Pro 2 Championship came down to the last
race, where Eric Yorba came
away with the race win and the
number-one plate.
Bell started the Pro race in
third and gained positions lap by
lap. Navigating through the slower quads on the track, Bell found
openings in the traffic to make his
move for first on lap five, where
he would stay until the finish. But
the win didn't come without its
moments.
One time, Bell left the pits too
quickly, not allowing his crew
to secure his fuel cap. Another
time, he went down in the scoring chute, and had two separate
