back and I think we went back
and forth like three times. The
only place I was worried about
was him stuffing me going up
the hill into the Corkscrew and
I came down through 10 and it
had a funny pop. I opened it up
and it popped, popped, popped
and was dead. I knew that because we were running close on
fuel that I'd run out of gas. I had
to coast it to the finish. What are
you going to do? It happened and
it's over with. It's frustrating for
sure because I was also in a bat-
tle for sixth in the championship
with him [Pegram]. And I don't get
to redeem myself until next year.
That's a tough one to sit on for six
months or whatever it is."
Pegram, meanwhile, was
pleased to get back on the podium – his first since the two thirdplace finishes at Daytona.
"I knew he [Fillmore] was going
to try to make a move at the end
and he put a block pass on me
in the last corner," Pegram said.
"His bike was really good there.
