CN III VOICES P20 LETTERS TO THE EDITOR "There are few enough Canadians who make it to the top echelons of racing. Don't rob us of them!" Double Whammy! Just got done reading another issue, and you scored a Double Whammy in both your World Superbike review/preview, as well as the excellent article by Mr. Carruthers about the TV situation for AMA Pro at Laguna Seca. I was lucky enough to attend all the World Superbike rounds at Laguna back then and will certainly be there again to watch the battle. Having American rider involvement is a plus and will hopefully result in a good fan turnout. I too would love to see Josh Hayes join Blake Young, Roger Hayden and Danny Eslick in the mix. In regards to AMA Pro and the TV fiasco at the last two rounds of the season, let's just hope it doesn't have lasting repercussions leading into 2014. Heck, I can now watch British Superbike, but not my own AMA! As a true fan, I want to stay positive, but damn it… they make it so difficult! Randy Cobb Nipomo, CA Hey, They're Canadians! In your piece on the return of World Superbikes to Laguna Seca, you cover past World Su- perbike events there. According to you, Miguel Duhamel, Pascal Picotte and Steve Crevier are all American. Nope. They're Canadian. There are few enough Canadians who make it to the top echelons of racing. Don't rob us of them! Adrian Chaster Via the Internet Yes, I screwed that up. Just thinking AMA wild cards and stole your Canadians from you. My apologies... Editor Where's Kailub? Kailub Russell wins five GNCCs in a row and still can't get the cover? Come on guys, what's the kid have to do? David Cripe Via the Internet Forever-Young Fan Great news about Blake Young doing World Superbike! Young is talented and has experience on a Superbike and at Laguna; he should do very well. Hope it exposes his talents to some European teams and he has a good finish/showing. If we get to see the races, that is. beIN Sports has broken up the coverage so much now that I'm not sure when it'll be on. The motorcycle websites and various TV listings have been wrong since Germany about air times and dates, and beIN Sports is not forthcoming about its programming schedule and air times. Since the race dates and times have been set since before the season started, this sudden change of broadcast procedure has me and many others with a big question mark above our collective heads. I really hope beIN Sports gets it together so we can get back to the great coverage we've enjoyed this season. John Stockman Via Facebook Got An Opinion?
