>>A record crowd of 91,000
spectators over the course of the
weekend witnessed Ben Bostrom's
domination of the race. Bostrom won
both World Superbike races, becoming
the first to do so since John Kocinski
in 1997.
>>Troy Corser and Neil Hodgson
split the podium spots with each rider
coming away with a second and a third
behind Bostrom.
>>Eric Bostrom finished fifth in
both races as a wild card rider. Colin
Edwards was sixth both times out on
the Castrol Honda.
