CN III VOICES P16 LETTERS TO THE EDITOR "I love racers. They never recover. Even in their 70s." Control Tires I read with interest your article by Michael Scott on control tires in MotoGP, which I have been saying is the cause of problems for some time and which Dorna seems oblivious to. Might I also add that the comment Valentino Rossi made about having to reduce power because he is heavier than Marc Marquez or supposedly he would run out of fuel before the end of the race… these restrictions in search of reducing costs seem to be making the racing less fair and at times boring when Marquez runs away at the head of the field. Bill Hannant Via the Internet Bill Nilsson II Regarding Kay Mann's letter referencing Bill Nilsson and what I remember when Smitty [Jeff Smith] introduced Bill Nilsson at Daytona is that he said, "We called him Billy the Pig" - a reference to his perpetually dirty riding." Bill grimly smiled, and Smitty smiled a smile that wasn't a smile, and was really a face meaning, "and we really meant it." I love racers. They never recover. Even in their 70s. Jamie Linxwiler Via the Internet Motocross of Nations TV Are you serious that the Motocross of Nations is not televised on TV? Why? It is on September 29 this year in Germany. This event is the crescendo of motocross, and the only event in this sport where countries line up and compete for a World Championship. It's very disappointing that American motocross fans will not see this event. Brian Bonser Via the Internet Motocross of Nations TV II I haven't seen any mention yet of television coverage of the Motocross of Nations. I'm hoping you have some information. I'm also very hopeful that there will be some sort of coverage from the race. It's a big deal and one of my favorite events of the year. Since I can't go to Germany, I'll need my fix. James Villa Via the Internet Motocross of Nations TV III Please tell me there's going to be coverage of the Motocross des Nations on real TV and it's not something I have to watch on my computer. Please. I said please. Susie Smythe Via the Internet Youthstream, the promoters of the Motocross of Nations, announced on Monday that the race will be aired on the CBS Sports Network both in the U.S. and Canada on Sunday, September 29 at 3 p.m (Eastern). CBS Sports Network will showcase the "Olympics of Motocross" with a full three-hour show that will feature the event's main races in their entirety, according to Youthstream… Editor. Got An Opinion?
