AMA Pro Motorcycle-Superstore Supersport East Championship came down to a last lap
showdown. Ultimately National
Guard/Celtic Racing Suzuki's
Corey Alexander won out over
Hayden Gillim on the underdog
Team 95/RM Racing Yamaha
squad by just a single point. It
was a triumphant weekend for
Alexander, who was racing on
his home track in front of a lot of
friends and family.
Saturday's race was won by
Gillim, setting up a winner-take-all
scenario for Sunday's race between Gillim and Alexander. Sunday's epic was a four-rider battle
