LYNNVILLE, INDIANA

REKLUSE AMA NATIONAL ENDURO SERIES
chance to beat Mullins for the title, but the
Radiant AirGroup rider had to finish in front
of Mullins to extend the title chase to the final
round in Oklahoma. Fahringer has been one
of the most consistent riders on the circuit this
year, but the Black Coal was not his best race.
Fahringer's fourth at the Black Coal was only
the second time all year that he finished off
the podium.
"It was just one of those races," Fahringer
said. "I just couldn't get into a rhythm and then
I kind of blew it in that last test."

raised its bounty by $1,000 each event, and going into the
Black Coal Enduro the bounty was at $4,000.
Andrew DeLong was making his return to the series after
missing several months due to a broken hand. The FAR
Husqvarna rider said the hand was not a problem in Indiana. "The hand is good," he said. "I just need to get my
fitness back, that's the main thing. But the hand is all right,
as long as I warm it up and stretch it out. I put a heat pad
on it in the morning before a race and then I try to loosen
it up. The looser it is the better it feels."
Charlie Mullins said that with the title all wrapped up
there will be no pressure at the series finale in Oklahoma
and he and the team plans on testing 2014 equipment to
get a jump on the upcoming season.
Charlie Mullins added that he thought that switching from
a 450 to a 350 for the 2013 championship was a good
idea. "I just think the 350 is more suited to this type of
riding than the 450 is," said Mullins. "I'll be back on a 350
next year and I look forward to defending my title."
