Cameron Beaubier sweeps DSB in New Jersey
and is crowned class champion

I
t was quite a memorable weekend for Yamaha's Cameron
Beaubier. The 20-year-old rising star from Roseville, California,
swept both Daytona SportBike
races at New Jersey Motorsports Park, set a new singleseason win record and clinched
the series championship. Like
Beaubier said after the races on
Sunday, "It doesn't get any better
than this."
Beaubier, the heir apparent to
Josh Hayes at Yamaha, was simply unstoppable all season and
his pair of wins in New Jersey
reflected that. The ultra-talented Yamaha Extended Service/
Monster Energy/Graves Yamaha
rider was able to pull out a gap
to score his 10th victory of the
season on Saturday, a new Daytona SportBike record, as well as
clinch the series championship.
It marked the first national title
for Beaubier.
