ROUND 10/SEPTEMBER 8, 2013 UNADILLA VALLEY SPORTS CENTER/NEW BERLIN, NEW YORK OFF-ROAD P68 AMSOIL GRAND NATIONAL CROSS COUNTRY SERIES Grant Baylor didn't have a great day but still leads the XC2 Championship. a crash in the first turn. The return of F.A.R. Racing/ Husqvarna's Andrew DeLong compounded the problem for Baylor, as DeLong streaked out front and remained there until race end, taking the XC2 victory and finishing fifth overall. DeLong never could let down his guard through out the race, as he was pressured early by GEICO Honda's Zach Osborne, who would finish second. With two of the biggest names in the class working from the back of the pack, the door was wide open for someone else to claim the final podium spot and that rider would be Scott Grills. Baylor worked his way up to finish fourth, followed by Shane Hufford and Jess Groemm. Baylor, however, still enjoys a comfortable 37-poing lead in the class over Thomas. Despite missing two rounds, DeLong currently holds down third in the class, 39 points behind Thomas and 20 points ahead of Hufford. CN XC1 Pro 1. Kailub Russell (KTM) 2. Charles Mullins (KTM) 3.
