Kailub Russell's fourth consecutive
win puts him in front in the race for
the 2013 championship

T
he battle for the XC1 pro points was
hot before the summer break and got
even hotter as the Amsoil GNCC Series resumed racing after its traditional summer break. The Unadilla Motorsport complex played host to round 10 as nearly 2000
racers competed in one of the most exciting
races of the season thus far.

Charlie Mullins, who came into the race tied
for the series points lead, wasted no time in
setting the pace after sorting things out the
first few laps, as they worked past newcomer to the series Jonathan Girroir, and they
never looked back. Behind them, however,
there was some serious action, as several
riders battled it out for position.
Shenandoah Honda's Thad Duvall's race
was cut short when he had a mechanical issue that forced him into the pits after being
