Coming in January, 2014, Ohlins will have its first-ever FKC 101 Fork Cartridge Kits to fit HarleyDavidson Touring models. The kits are based on the concept of the Ohlins hyper-sport front
forks, but with smaller pistons. The kits feature 8mm steel shafts, aluminum damper tubes
and 25mm pistons. They use NIX-type damping: one fork leg has compression only, while the
other leg takes care of rebound only. By segregating compression from rebound, the damping
that's available within the confined diameter of a fork leg is maximized.
