onsidering how close
the racing was in World
Superbike at the Nürburgring, and how the championship changed in the possibilities
of who may be the overall champion in October, there was an air
of disappointment and tension
after both races got red flagged when oil got spilled from a blown
engine in race one and a crash
brought about the stoppage in
race two.
The first three home in race
one - Tom Sykes, Marco Melandri
and Chaz Davies - were covered
by .714 of a second after 17 of
