MOTOGP WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES
Jorge Lorenzo (99) didn't let
a second-row start stop him
from leading into the first
corner. The Yamaha man
led the first 16 laps before
coming under attack from
both Marquez (93) and Dani
Pedrosa (26).
KALLIO'S SURPRISE
Moto2 was the first race of the
day, and it was a close one with the
top three over the line in less than a

at the end of it.
Pole qualifier Takaaki Nakagami
took off in the lead, but it lasted

closed on the front four, and the
battle became more intense as Luthi
took to the front on lap 16.
Kallio was not to be denied, however, with contract time looming at a
track he enjoys.
With three laps left he took to
the front again and even opened
up a little gap, and while Nakagami
chased his best, he was more than
half-a-second away over the line.
"My last win was five years ago,"
said the ice-cool Finn. "Even if I
don't show it on the outside, on the
