podium with 4-3 finishes. Colton
Aeck narrowly missed the po-
dium with 3-5 scores, and Brian
Medeiros completed the top five
with 5-4 results. The win gave
Mosiman his first Pro-class win
of the weekend before he lined
up for Sunday's 30+ Pro Champi-
onship.
The 30+ Pro class produced
one of the weekend's closest
battles, with the overall champi-
onship coming down to a last-
lap pass in the final moto. Gary
Sutherlin opened the day with a
victory aboard his Husqvarna,
finishing ahead of Redondi and
Mosiman. In the second moto,
Mosiman moved to the front while
Sutherlin held second for most of
the race. With his opening-moto
victory, Sutherlin was in position
to take the overall with 1-2 fin-
ishes. However, Redondi made a
last-lap pass on Sutherlin for sec-
ond, dropping the Husqvarna rider
to third and changing the overall
standings. The pass left Mosiman,
Redondi and Sutherlin all tied at
four points each, with Mosiman's
second-moto victory giving him
the overall win with 3-1 scores.
Redondi finished second overall
with 2-2 results, while Sutherlin
was pushed back to third with 1-3
finishes. RJ Wageman finished
fourth with a pair of fourth-place
results, while defending champion
Brian Medeiros rounded out the
top five with 7-5 scores.
The 40+ Pro class was a dif-
ferent story, as Justin McDonald
went undefeated aboard his
Honda. McDonald put together
two moto wins for a perfect 1-1
