Alpinestars has released a Taiyo Furusato graphic for
its Supertech R7 street helmet. The Japanese-inspired
design has floral and geometric shapes, along with a
sun, referencing his first name, Taiyo, meaning "sun" in
Japanese. The S-R7 has a multi-composite shell that
dissipates impact energy and resists penetration. A
multi-density EPS liner slips on impact to protect from
rotational accelerations, and 10 vents provide airflow. The
opening is padded to prevent collarbone injuries, and an
integrated spoiler minimizes turbulence and drag.

Bridgestone's new Battlax Adventure A42 tire is
constructed using a newly formulated compound, with
the silica and carbon content optimized for a balance
of wet performance and long life. In wet conditions,
the on-road-focused tire has 14 percent less slip under
straight-line acceleration compared to the previous A41
model. Bridgestone measured an 18 percent increase
in life for the front and 25 percent more for the rear.
And its larger contact patch offers greater stability
and reduced noise. Three front and three rear sizes are
expected to be in dealers in January 2027.
