Husqvarna o-roaders and motocrossers, as
well as Kawasaki dirt and street bikes... We had
coverage of the third annual Dick Mann Vintage
Dirt Bike Rally from Sandhill Ranch... Je Stanton
wrapped up the title at
the Trans-Cal finale at Ascot.

We featured the top motocrossers of the Trans-
AMA MX round in Missouri 50 years ago. The
faces belonged to (clockwise) Bob Hannah, Kent
Howerton, Gary Semics, Brad Lackey, Graham
Noyce, Jim Pomeroy and Adolf Weil... Jay
Springsteen won the flat track Race of Champions
in Kentucky... We tested the Suzuki RM100B
motocrosser... Don Sweet won the National
Trials at Saddleback Park on Saturday and
Bernie Schreiber won on Sunday.

Max Biaggi earned his second successive 250cc World
Championship at the Australian Grand Prix 30 years ago
and made the cover. Loris Capirossi won the premier
500cc class... We rode Suzuki's 1997 RM250V...
Doug Chandler and Fritz Kling split Formula USA
wins at Daytona... Randy Hawkins pulled o" the win
at the Cowbell National Enduro in Bellingham,
Washington… Scott Plessinger won the Li'l Beaver
Park GNCC in Ohio.
