Nate Thrasher
Joins Monster
Energy
Pro Circuit
Kawasaki
T
he Monster Energy Pro Circuit
Kawasaki announced its five-
rider roster which includes the
addition of Nate Thrasher. The
Tennessee native has won at
least one race each season since
he turned pro and earned his
seventh career 250 Supercross
victory last season at round 14 in
Cleveland, Ohio.
"I'm super excited to join Mon-
ster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasa-
ki," Thrasher said. "It's been a life-
long dream to be on this team,
and I can't wait to start riding the
KX250F. I'll be training in Florida
with my teammates Levi [Kitch-
en] and Nick [Romano]. Mitch
Payton and the whole team have
been great and super welcoming.
I look forward to getting the bike
dialed in, and my goal is to win
a championship this year. I want
to keep stacking race wins; my
goal would be to get to 10 race
wins total within this year. I feel
like this is my year, and I want to
make it count."
The 2026 250SMX Champion,
Levi Kitchen, returns to the Kawa-
saki team alongside Seth Ham-
maker, Drew Adams and fill-in
turned full-timer Nick Romano.
"Going into 2027, we have a
lot of momentum to build on
with Levi [Kitchen] coming off his
SMX World Championship and
Seth [Hammaker] continuing to
show his championship capa-
bilities," said team owner Mitch
Payton. "I believe this off-season
will give each of our riders the
time they need to recover, reset,
and dial in their programs for the
upcoming year. Drew [Adams]
and Nick [Romano] continue to
develop their speed and race-
craft, and both showed a lot of
improvement throughout the
year. We're also looking forward
to having Nate [Thrasher] join the
team. I believe he's a great fit for
our program and has the speed
and experience to deliver strong
results throughout the season.
I'm eager to see how the guys
perform in 2027 and showcase
the capabilities of the KX250F
throughout the year."
