WSX Cancels Remaining 2026 Season T here was another big blow to the FIM World Supercross Championship as the organizers announced that the 2026 season will conclude with "immediate effect." Only one round was held this year; the Canadian Grand Prix in Calgary on August 8. The series' parent company, SX Global, says the championship is "in advanced discussions with potential investors" but has still decided to cancel the remaining five rounds in England, Argentina, South Africa, New Zealand and Australia. This news follows the series' earlier cancellation of the British GP, which was scheduled for October 10, 2026. "The decision has not been taken lightly," a statement from WSX said. "We continue to believe strongly in the series, its global potential and the opportu- nity to build on the foundations established to date. We remain optimistic that the ongoing discussions will reach a positive conclusion and provide a strong platform for the future of the championship."
