qualifying races, the hotshot 250 rider held it together on Sunday. A 12th in the first moto against the MXGP riders would eventually be the team's drop score. Coenen put his Red Bull KTM into seventh in the second moto, making him the second-best 250 rider in the field. Sacha Coenen also earned the Ricky Carmichael Award for best young rider with a third-place overall finish in the MX2 category. "It feels unreal to be up here with my brother and the whole team. The whole team rode amazing today," Sacha said. "I didn't have the best first moto, but the second was good. I was quite happy. I really want to thank the whole team. It's an incredible day." The event proved even more significant for the Coenen broth- ers as it marked their final race in the FIM MXGP series. However, sometimes things just don't go your way, and today it seemed like all the bad luck happened. I got the holeshot in my race and was leading early on. Before coming over the jump, I had to bail off the bike. Thankfully, I was pretty much okay, but when I tried to race in the last race, I wasn't feeling right and had to withdraw. Not how I wanted it to go, but this is motocross." MYOWNRACE Jorge Prado earned top honors in the MXGP class and helped put Team Spain on the overall podium. For the first time in 13 years, Team Belgium clinched the overall victory. They did so with the youngest team ever. amazing. Belgium is back on top, and I love it."
