In Moto3, the champion-
ship coronation of Max Quiles
(CFMOTO Gaviota Aspar Team
KTM) was put on hold after Da-
vid Almansa (Liqui Moly Dyna-
volt Intact GP KTM) held him to
the line in a nail-biting encounter
for his third win of the season.
Quiles is still 127 points in front,
the title a mere formality.
MotoGP Sprint
Marc Marquez held the hole-
shot ahead of polesitter Martin,
while drama erupted at turn
three when Alex Marquez (BK8
Gresini Racing MotoGP) collided
with Pedro Acosta (Red Bull
KTM Factory Racing) and Fabio
Di Giannantonio (Pertamina
Enduro VR46 Racing Team),
eliminating all three. Alex was
later handed a double long-lap
penalty for Sunday.
Marc Marquez gradually ex-
tended his advantage as Martin
settled into second, with Bez-
zecchi initially third before Enea
Bastianini (Red Bull KTM Tech3)
moved through on lap three.
Moreira then joined the fight,
passing Bezzecchi and Ai Ogura
(SuperFile Trackhouse MotoGP
Team), while Ogura dispatched
Bezzecchi to move fourth.
By halfway, Marquez held a
one-second lead, but Martin's
rear-grip problems allowed
Bastianini and Moreira to close
in. Neither could pass before the
flag, but both Martin and Bas-
tianini were later penalized one
position for final-lap track limits.
Moreira was therefore pro-
moted to second for his maiden
MotoGP Sprint podium and

DNF/8TH MOTOGP
"It was a tough race. We made the
most of some crashes ahead of us,
but generally speaking I knew that we
couldn't have gone faster than this," Ba-
gnaia said. "I tried to be as consistent
as possible and during the race I tried
several things to understand if I could
make the difference riding-wise in any
way. I couldn't get the bike to deceler-
ate on corner entry and then, on corner
exit, I found myself in the wrong place.
Often enough I need to hit the brakes
'stoppie style,' but it's not something I
can do for the whole race because the
bike becomes very nervous."
20 FABIO QUARTARARO
9TH/12TH MOTOGP
"It was difficult because from lap
seven onwards I had a fuel issue,"
Quartararo said. "So, it was not the
best. I could have gone much faster,
but I had to take a lot of care with the
throttle. I am happy with my riding,
though, and that's the most important
thing. P12 was more or less where
I expected to be in this race. I think
I maybe could have been in front of
Brad [Binder] and Luca [Marini], but
sometimes these things are part of
racing."
