Enduro-based platform gets op-
tional cruise control. Since this
bike is intended for longer miles
in more comfort, this is a smart
integration. Cleanly, the same
single joystick switchgear also
controls cruise control; there is
no additional hardware, but the
software upgrade will set you
back $199.99 for cruise control.
Finally, there's the Quickshift-
er+. KTM has a great reputation
in its quickshifting integration
and functionality. You can also
add clutchless up- and down-
shifting with their adaptive
reset your slip setting. You can
simply crack the throttle, and
the bike figures it out for you.
You can also adjust the throt-
tle response with the Rally Pack
in three levels of aggression:
Off-Road, Street and Rally. The
difference between the settings
is significant and changes the
bike's character immensely. You
can also adjust the Motor Slip
Regulation, or engine braking,
with the Rally Pack.
The Rally Pack upgrade will
cost $299.99 at the dealership.
But there's a lot more here to

you, as well as the control it
provides, are quite astonishing.
You also get the latest Dynamic
Slip Adjust, an adaptive function
that works inside Rally Mode to
override your wheelspin setting
when throttle input and wheel
speeds indicate you're encoun-
tering softer terrain like mud or
sand. In these conditions, the
system allows increased wheel-
spin to get you moving, then
reverts to the selected slip level.
