delivered a standout ride for third, earning his first Superbike podium and giving Ducati two V4 Rs on the podium. Points leader Kelly finished fourth. The fight for fifth went down to the line, with Kelly's Or- angeCat Racing teammate, Jay- son Uribe, edging Strack Racing Yamaha's Mathew Scholtz by 0.015 of a second, dropping him to sixth. PJ Jacobsen (Rahal Ducati Moto with Xpel) finished sev- enth ahead of JD Beach (At- tack Performance Progressive Yamaha Racing), Hayden Gillim (Real Steel Honda) and Brandon Paasch (M4 Ecstar Suzuki). In a sprint to the line, Beach edged Scholtz by 0.159 of a second for second in their private battle for third in the championship, 0.443 of a second behind Fong, completing a 1-2-3 Yamaha podium sweep. Kelly finished race two in a crucial fourth, the points gap now a winner-take-all two points heading into Sunday's final race three.
