overall and fourth in the SMX Championship. "We did what we could," said sentimental favorite Roczen. "I had a good first moto. I was second the whole time. We got messed up with lappers, and that cost me a bit. Me, Haiden and Hunter were neck and neck that race, so I was able to finish second in the first race. "In the second race, I shot out of the gate and hit the bump that was right in front of it, which dropped my front wheel in and popped my holeshot device out. I pretty much had a terrible start, so I had to make my way up. I kind of jammed my wrist in the sand section on the first lap. The Red Bull KTM Factory Racing rider finished 12th on the night, which placed him just outside the top 10 in SMX points. "It has sunk in," Tomac said. "I was trying to have fun out there, but to be straight up, there were some stressful mo- ments for me. What a ride it has been. I've gotten to literally live the dream, and it's sure been a ride. I'm so thankful for everyone, and I've said this a million times, but I truly am grateful for the whole family of Supercross and Pro Mo- tocross. Thank you to everyone."
