"Overall, it was a good race, espe-
cially in light of the results from the
previous three Grands Prix," Bagnaia
said. "It wasn't easy, because condi-
tions were different and we couldn't
find the right traction while losing a
lot of grip at the same time. After five
laps, I decided to slow down my pace
by half a second in order to arrive at
the end in the best way possible. This
allowed me to bridge the gap with Al-
deguer and Binder in the final stages.
Unfortunately, around lap six I started
to have a small braking issue, which
didn't help in slowing down correctly. I
still managed to react the proper way
and finish in a crescendo."

"Overall, I'd say a successful weekend
here in Red Bull Ring, and I'm happy
to have got my best finish of the year,"
Binder said. "I would have liked to
have been a bit further up the grid but
I did my best. Happy with the pace we
were able to put together and happy
with the work by the team. Well done
to them, and also to Pedro on his first
victory; I'm sure it's the first of many."

Pol Espargaro (44) had
another fill-in ride for
Maverick Vinales and took
16th on Sunday.
