TM revealed the 2027 450 Rally Replica
will be sold for the first time through
U.S.-based dealerships this fall. The
450 Rally Replica is the same platform the
Red
Bull KTM Factory Racing team has used
at the Dakar Rally, including winning the 2026
edition. It's also the same bike used by the
BAS World KTM Racing Team—KTM's official
satellite support team. While the premier
factory effort of Daniel Sanders, Luciano
Benavides and Edgar Canet certainly features
tricked-out versions of this unit and non-
consumer parts, the bones are the same.
The 2027
KTM 450 Rally Replica "remains
the closest bike to a factory racer available
off a dealership floor," says KTM.
As a competition-only rally race machine,
KTM says the 450 Rally Replica build sheet
starts with a hand-welded chromoly frame
featuring calculated flex parameters, tube
placements and tube-wall thicknesses to
provide exceptional rider feedback, bump
absorption and straight-line stability from the
forged steering head connection back to the
self-supporting rear fuel tank that doubles
as the subframe.
Bolted
to the frame is a WP Pro Com-
ponents' Xact Pro Cone Valve closed-
cartridge
fork and an Xact Pro rear shock
with 11.97/11.0 inches of travel front/rear.
