rider made it a Triumph 1-2 in
race one as he led his teammate
Farres into victory lane. Moto
two looked much tougher for
McLellan, as he started outside
the top five. He pushed up to
second by the checkered flag
and ended the season on top.
He also earned enough points to
take second in the championship
and is certainly a title favorite for
the 2027 season.
Liam Everts won the final
moto of the season and finished
second on the day with 3-1
results.
Janis Reisulis finished his
rookie season in third overall
ahead of Guillem Farres in fourth
overall. Sacha Coenen rounded
out the top five and dropped
to third in the championship
results.
"I had an up-and-down sea-
son," Coenen said. "I started
not so good in Argentina, but I
came back swinging after that
and had the red plate for four
rounds, which was kind of good.
Then I crashed and broke my col-
larbone, and I made everything
possible to get back. I got some
decent results after that, but go-
ing to Turkiye I was completely
off because I was sick. That is
how it is, it is racing, so I need to
accept it. I was not the best over
the last three rounds, and I came
up a bit short, but I am quite
happy with my season overall.
I am always learning, I am still
young, and we will work hard
this winter because I have some
goals for next year."
