AGIUS CONFIRMED AT
TECH3
The final name was confirmed
for the 2027 MotoGP grid as
Tech3 announced the signing
of Senna Agius in the lead-up
to the Austrian Grand Prix. The
Australian Moto2 contender will
line up alongside Luca Marini in
the French outfit. According to
Team Owner Guenther Steiner,
Agius' drive was the standout
reason for his hiring. "Potential
for the future," said Steiner. "He's
very young. He's very driven. If
you look at his career, he moved
from Australia to Europe to do
this, which is a big commitment.
When you're young and you take
your family with you, it shows
how much you want to do it. A
lot of this is talent. But also drive
comes into it." Whether Diogo
Moreira or David Alonso ride in
the factory Honda team or LCR
Honda is the only remaining ques-
tion over next year's lineup.
KTM NOT FOR SALE
New KTM CEO Gottfried Neu-
meister has insisted KTM is not
for sale after promising financial
results in the first half of 2026.
Speaking to assembled media at
the factory's home race, Neumeis-
ter admitted he could see reasons
why he was repeatedly asked if
KTM would leave MotoGP, or sell
a stake in its team, during 2025,
a year of financial crisis. But a
much-improved financial situation
has added to the optimism. "In
the second quarter, we managed
to break even on EBIT level. For
the first time in almost two years,
seeing profits was really a great
sign, great relief," he said. "We've
