Stelvios, modern V100s and V85s,
alongside countless machines
that have been kept alive by their
owners for decades.
As the procession entered
Mandello, crowds lined the route.
The scene encapsulated
what Moto Guzzi has become.
The motorcycles aren't simply
transportation or lifestyle acces-
sories. For the people lining the
streets, they are pieces of family
history, national history and per-
sonal history.
The parade eventually arrived
at the factory, where the riders
were greeted by thousands of
spectators and the Aprilia Racing
contingent. Virgin Radio provided
the soundtrack, while the fac-
tory grounds turned into a giant
motorcycle festival.
105 YEARS—
AND STILL IN
MANDELLO
Perhaps the most significant
aspect of GMG 2026 was that
Moto Guzzi wasn't celebrating
its 105th anniversary simply by
looking backward. The compa-
ny's history was everywhere, but
the redevelopment of its Man-
dello home is fundamentally an
investment in the future.
